Edwards Living is looking for a Maintenance Technician to work at our NEW, upscale, oceanfront community in Daytona Beach, FL, with the opportunity to grow! The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting the Site Manager and/or the Maintenance Supervisor in all areas ensuring that the physical aspects of the apartment community meet the established standards for safety, appearance, and operation. This position requires a willingness to deliver excellent customer service while providing a high-quality living environment.
Responsibilities:
- Responding to work orders and resident requests in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner
- Responding to emergency calls during on-call periods.
- Participating in ongoing preventative maintenance and improvement.
- Performing painting, plumbing, electrical, and installation services.
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance experience required, apartment maintenance experience preferred.
- General knowledge of all aspects of maintenance repair and service.
- HVAC knowledge is a plus.
- Good communication skills.
- Displays a friendly and positive attitude.
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Live within 20 miles of the property for on-call rotation requirements.
