What You Bring to the Table
As our Quality Manager, you will be pivotal in driving quality control systems and ensuring compliance with customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards like IATF 16949. You’ll lead a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and sorting department personnel to achieve production goals and exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee quality control systems to ensure product excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise a skilled team, manage staffing plans, and track production targets and quality issues.
- Analyze data and specifications to set quality and reliability benchmarks.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), root cause analysis (RCA), and process certifications.
- Coordinate quality objectives with production procedures to maximize reliability and minimize costs.
- Engage in training programs, process certifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain inventory control for critical tools like lasers, cameras, and fixtures.
- Lead annual reviews and performance tracking for sorting associates.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety guidelines.

Qualifications
What You Bring to the Table
- Associate degree or 10 years of progressive experience in the fastener or automotive industry.
- Leadership experience: 4 years managing teams or leadership development training.
- Knowledge of Minimum Process Requirements (MPR), Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality control software.
- Familiarity with IATF 16949 auditing (preferred).
- Knowledge of ERP systems like PLEX UX.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Calmness under pressure and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- A strong work ethic and reliability.
- Intermediate blueprint reading and quality inspection experience.
- Ability to stand and move for 8–10 hour shifts and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
