Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, grounds, and landscaping. This role requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working with hand tools and power tools, and has a passion for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on buildings, including repairs and improvements.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete various maintenance projects.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as lawn care, irrigation, and gardening.
- Assist in groundskeeping duties to ensure the exterior areas are well-kept and visually appealing.
- Monitor and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas needing attention or improvement.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are stored properly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance work or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, including lawn care and gardening techniques.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license may be required for transportation between job sites.
