What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at EEG Management?
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance tasks across the property, including plumbing repairs, basic electrical troubleshooting, and other handyman duties
- Turn and prepare units for new tenants (make-readies) including painting, cleaning, repairs, and appliance checks
- Respond to maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Inspect vacant units and report issues before move-ins
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of common areas and grounds
- Assist with seasonal maintenance tasks (e.g., HVAC filters, winterization, etc.)
Requirements:
- Experience in residential maintenance or similar trade work
- Knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical systems
- Ability to perform general labor tasks such as painting, drywall repair, light carpentry, and appliance servicing
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Valid driver’s license preferred
