We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in property maintenance, including handling work orders and preparing units for new tenants (make-readies). This role involves performing a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure our properties remain in excellent condition for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Complete work orders efficiently, addressing maintenance requests from residents.
- Perform make-ready tasks, including repairs, painting, and cleaning, to prepare units for new tenants.
- Conduct inspections of properties to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems as needed.
- Perform general carpentry, appliance repairs, and other hands-on maintenance tasks.
- Utilize tools and diagnostic equipment to assess and resolve maintenance issues.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
- Provide prompt and professional customer service to residents and staff.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and unit turnovers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of make-ready processes, including basic repairs, painting, and cleaning.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using diagnostic tools and basic hand/power tools.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer service mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
