What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at EEPB?
This role supports a variety of clients in accomplishing monthly accounting tasks associated. These could include payroll, payments, preparing financial statements, and other standard monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting reports.
Primary Responsibilities
This role is responsible for supporting several clients with standard accounting tasks.
These tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Posting journal entries into QuickBooks
- Heavy AR/ AP
- Scan and upload various documents to proprietary system
- Use different systems to support the clients – QuickBooks, Yearli, etc.
- Counsel clients regarding different requirements
- Maintaining confidentiality and performing all tasks in keeping with established protocols for security
- Maintains an effective, systematic and timely filing system
- Codes, scans, files and distributes communications effectively
- Provide clients with requested reports at different intervals
Working Conditions
- This is an in-office role occasional travel to client offices may be required
- Due to the nature of the business deadline days will require late hours.

Education and Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Office 365)
- Knowledge of Quickbooks Online, Quickbooks Desktop
- Professional and Presentable with Strong Ethics and Problem-Solving abilities
- Trustworthiness with confidential and sensitive information
- Dependable, reliable, patience, tact, confidence, and flexibility
- Ability to multitask, remain calm and work independently and prioritize workload.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- At least 3 years in a bookkeeper role
