Reporting to the Electrical Team Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting our experienced electricians with solar panel installations, maintenance, and repairs. Responsibilities:
- Assist electricians with various tasks throughout the workday, including:
- Preparing work areas and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Carrying, organizing, and setting up tools, materials, and equipment at job sites.
- Assisting with tasks such as drilling holes, securing conduit, and cleaning work areas.
- Assisting with basic electrical tasks under the direct supervision and guidance of a licensed electrician, following all safety instructions. (Tasks may include pulling wires, labeling wires, and grounding systems.)
- Learn basic electrical theory and practices through on-the-job training and mentorship.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and readily available.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed (e.g., filing paperwork, copying documents).
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- A strong desire to learn and a willingness to work hard in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and carry moderate weight (up to 50 lbs).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with electricians and other team members.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to safety.
- A valid driver's license.

The targeted compensation for this role is between $17.00 and $22.00 per hour, however, it may vary depending on location. Illinois compensation expectations are between $17.00 and $22.00 per hour.
