Job Summary:
eEquals is seeking a skilled and licensed Battery Electrician to join our team specializing in residential solar installations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the solar industry and possess the necessary certifications to perform electrical work in residential settings.
Job Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in the residential solar industry, focusing on electrical installations and troubleshooting.
- Licensing: Licensed electrician (preferred) or equivalent certification.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in installing and maintaining solar systems, including knowledge of SolarEdge and Enphase systems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
- Certifications: OSHA-10 certification and a general understanding of overall safety requirements.
- Other Requirements: Attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and collaborate with teammates on field and project status.
- Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver's license and meet the criteria to be insured under the company's vehicle insurance policy.
- Other Duties as Assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair residential solar systems.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting and provide solutions for solar installations.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes.
- Collaborate with installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain high standards of safety and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and on time.
- Deliver excellent customer service by effectively communicating with clients.

The targeted compensation for this role is between $20.00 and $25.00 per hour, however, it may vary depending on location. Illinois compensation expectations are between $20.00 and $25.00 per hour.
