EF Education First, the world leader in international education, is looking for a passionate, organized, and hardworking Travel Operations Coordinator to join EF’s in-house Travel team. In this role, you will be a member of an energetic team and report to the manager of the Explore America Travel Team.
As a Travel Operations Coordinator, you will be part of a team securing flights for all EF Explore America Tours’ customers. You will be responsible for ensuring that both budgetary as well as quality guidelines are met for every itinerary, while following deadlines to guarantee all tours are accounted for leading up to their departure.
Start date for this full-time position is October 2024.

What you will be doing
- Flight Coordination – Organize flights for EF Explore America Tours’ customers, including booking, liaising with airlines, and handling reservations
- Quality Control – Select flights that meet quality guidelines to enhance customer experience. Ensure that systems are always up to date with flight information and deadlines.
- Communication – Collaborate with teams across EF Travel and EF Explore America to support core functions and provide seamless travel experiences. Establish relationships with airline representatives to successfully book and maintain flight space.
- Technology Utilization – Working extensively with airline reservation systems and internal EF systems to manage bookings and group tours efficiently.
- Cost Impact – Ensuring that budgetary guidelines are met for every itinerary and having a cost-conscious approach to challenging flight scenarios.
- Must have at least 4 years of relevant work experience or a 4-year degree
- Demonstrates a strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize them to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Some prior Travel industry experience is ideal but not required
