What are the responsibilities and job description for the International Education Coordinator position at EF High School Exchange Year?
I am a Regional Coordinator with Education First. Education First is a nonprofit organization that places foreign exchange students with families in the community that are willing to host them for a school year (10 months approximately).
As a International Education Coordinator, you role is to find host families, creating relationships with schools, and supervise students and families while in country.
This is a position for a stay at home parent, retired individual, or someone looking for a job on the side for extra income and just bringing culture into your community. Pay is based on students placed, and funds for maintaining family/student during exchange period. Also based on placements, you have the potential to earn trips. This year, trips are Cancun for 2 placements and either Rio de Janero or Edinburg Scotland starting at 5 placements.
