We are seeking to place a dynamic and experienced Food Service Director for a 100 bed nursing home in Lowell, MA. The role will oversee and lead the culinary operations of our senior living community. As the Food Service Director, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing all aspects of our food service program to ensure exceptional dining experiences for our residents. Your leadership, culinary expertise, and commitment to quality will contribute to the overall satisfaction and well-being of our residents.

- Design and develop nutritious, flavorful, and well-balanced menus that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of senior residents
- Oversee all aspects of the food service program, including meal preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and food quality
- Record and maintain adequate food inventory and complete reports as required
- Order food and kitchen supplies from approved vendors and maintain good communication with all vendors
- Conduct regular inspections, implement proper hygiene practices, and maintain necessary documentation
- Train, manage and supervise food service staff, practice time management techniques, and ensure the highest possible customer satisfaction
- At least 3 years of managerial experience
- Must have CDM/CFPP certification
- High School diploma or equivalent
