Responsibilities and Duties
- Leadership and Administration:
- Support the Head of School in the development and growth of the school by setting strategic goals and ensuring their effective implementation
- Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, including staff management, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment among staff members
- Educational Excellence:
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality educational programs aligned with the school's mission and values
- Collaborate with the pedagogical coordinator and the teachers to implement innovative and effective teaching methods
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to measure the success of educational initiatives
- Multicultural and Inclusive Community Building:
- Demonstrate a commitment to inclusivity and multiculturalism within the school community
- Encourage and support initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff to create a cohesive and supportive school environment
- Summer Camp Program Management:
- Take charge of planning, organizing, and overseeing the Summer Camp program
- Develop engaging and enriching activities that align with the school's educational philosophy
- Ensure the safety and well-being of camp participants through effective supervision and coordination
- Professional Development:
- Support the professional growth of teachers and staff through mentorship, training, and ongoing professional development opportunities
- Stay informed about current trends and best practices in early childhood education
- Previous experience in a leadership or administrative role is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse community
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering inclusivity, diversity, and a positive school culture
- Strong organizational and managerial skills
- Current knowledge of best practices in education
- EEC Director I or II certificate or in the process;
- Physical ability to handle frequent sitting, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and moving;
- Proven ability to maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment;
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with the pedagogical coordinator in developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum
