Warehouse Associate

Job Summary:

As a Warehouse Employee at [Company Name], a leading Electro-Mechanical Contract Manufacturer, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and organized management of materials, products, and equipment. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping a variety of electro-mechanical components, assemblies, and finished products, while maintaining safety, accuracy, and organization in the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments, verify product quantities and quality, and update inventory records
• Properly store materials, components, and finished products according to organizational standards
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring timely delivery and proper handling of products
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular stock counts, tracking, and updating inventory systems
• Ensure all warehouse areas are clean, organized, and free from hazards
• Assist with unloading and loading shipments as needed, using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment
• Collaborate closely with the production team to fulfill orders and maintain smooth workflows
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on warehouse equipment
• Follow company policies and procedures for safe material handling, storage, and shipping practices
• Assist with quality control processes as required, ensuring all products meet quality standards before shipment
• Support the Warehouse Manager with daily operations and provide backup in the absence of team members
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional warehouse training or certification is a plus
• Previous experience in warehouse or logistics roles, preferably in an electro-mechanical or manufacturing environment
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (certification may be required)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and reporting
• Knowledge of safety practices and the ability to follow safety protocols
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Experience working in an electro-mechanical or electronics manufacturing environment
• Forklift certification (if not already certified, the company may provide training)
