About the role: Are you a service-minded, experienced financial analyst with an interest in influencing the growth of a private equity backed company providing school-based mental health care services to K-12 students across the nation?
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Senior FP&A will be responsible for developing and implementing an integrated business planning process (including long-term planning, annual budgeting, and forecasting), ensuring all stakeholders contribute to and buy-into financial outlooks. Since this is a private equity backed company, the Senior FP&A will work closely with the investment team, CEO, CFO, COO, SVP of Sales, Chief Clinical Officer, and other members of the senior team to develop, refine operational metrics, KPIs, and drivers for forecasting business activities.
Primary Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:
- Developing reports for the monthly operating review, providing monthly financial results and forecast expectations to the Board along with analysis of revenue and spending vs. targets.
- Preparing, maintaining, and designing monthly operational KPIs that can be communicated and transparently tracked across the business.
- Providing financial and operational analyses and reports that enable sound business decisions across the organization and support the initiatives of the organization.
- Working with IT, Operations, individual Clinical Directors, HR, etc. to gauge overall financial health, maximize profit margins, balance investments, and help the team execute against that plan.
- Performing scenario analysis of financial drivers and outcomes based on a range of operational levers which impact the business.
- Maturing the company's FP&A program and developing a multi-site financial model for the company.
- Assembling an assortment of benchmarks, solutions, models, research, and metrics from each location and region to key in on how current and proposed operations can support the financial growth plan of the company.
- Assisting in the design and developing financial models through analytical work, based on the growth strategy.
- Working closely with individual departments, collecting historical budget metrics, setting a path to project a 3-5 year financial forecast and growth horizon, and being prepared to lead the FY2026 annual budget process.
- Evaluating and introducing appropriate financial planning tools.
- Partnering with the VP of IT and Director of Data & Analytics to scope, implement, and improve the company's business intelligence platform and insights.
- Supporting M&A efforts to help the company keep pace with its growth goals.
- Special projects may include add-on diligence and investment analysis.
- 4 years of experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics, preferred.
- High proficiency in advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Preferred experience in NetSuite ERP and Planning & Budgeting.
- Outstanding communication skills and proven leader of change. Extensive experience in cross functional communication. Highly driven to create visibility for informed decisions.
- Ability to inspire team members to adopt new behaviors required for growth and success.
- Ability to provide meaningful and insightful commentary on financial results to management, investors, and other constituents on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Experience in performing FP&A for a $50M or > multi-state services company, highly preferred.
- Experience providing modeling support for transactions and successful deals.
- Strong analytical skills and results orientation.
- Ability to quickly understand the relevant levers from both the operation and financial perspectives.
- Ability to bring discipline and rigor to analyses and also leverage common sense to solutions.
- Strategic thinking skills and inquisitiveness while toggling between operational and the strategic needs of the company.

- Experience operating in a private equity-backed and/or levered environment.
- Sales operations and compensation planning.
- MBA or CPA.
