What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Technician (FX-MAR) position at Effex Management Solutions?
Effex is looking for a motivated Facilities Technician to work for a manufacturing client in Houston, TX. As a Facilities Technician you are responsible for performing basic remodeling and construction work.
Basic Knowledge of Commercial:
- Construction
- Remodeling
- Plumbing
- Hvac
- Electrician work (heating and wiring) is a plus
Shift Details:
- Monday - Friday (8-5pm)
- Weekend Availability
- $11.50 - $12.00 per hour
- 8hr shifts
Other Requirements:
- Efficient with hand tools
- Ability to work at heights or roof deck level
- Available to work after hours and weekends when needed
- Obtain steel toe boots/shoes within 30 days of hire
- Start purchasing their own tools or within 90 days of hire if they don’t have any
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Be on time at the start of their shift.
