Efficient Air Service in Riverdale, NJ is seeking a skilled and dedicated Residential HVAC Technician to join our team full-time. WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with on-call responsibilities as part of the role, along with opportunities for overtime.
As a Residential HVAC Technician, you are responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heating and cooling systems in residential settings. Your role is vital in ensuring customer satisfaction and trust, as you interact directly with clients to address their HVAC needs. This position involves:
- Conducting thorough inspections and assessments of HVAC systems.
- Providing timely repairs and service recommendations.
- Promoting service agreements and additional HVAC products.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
To be considered for this heating and cooling role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician and 2 years of residential service experience
- EPA certification (Type II or Universal)
- Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and troubleshooting strategies
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, work in various environmental conditions, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willing to work after hours and occasional weekends
- Certification of graduation from a vocational school with an accredited HVAC program
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in ServiceTitan
- Ability to use advanced diagnostic tools and accurately read and interpret wiring diagrams
