Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate CT Tech to join our team in Towson, MD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computed tomography (CT) imaging, providing high-quality patient care while ensuring accurate diagnostic results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans as per physicians' orders to obtain clear and accurate images.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout.
- Administer contrast media as required, monitoring patient reactions.
- Maintain patient records and imaging results according to hospital protocols.
- Assist in maintaining CT equipment and supplies, ensuring everything is in working order.
- Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to deliver optimal patient care.
- Adhere to safety protocols, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
- MD state license
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and radiology protocols.
- Excellent patient care skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $65.00 - $67.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
