Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to support our outpatient cardiology practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in an outpatient setting, strong clinical skills, and a passion for patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and performing procedures as directed by the physician.
- Complete IV insertions and blood draws with precision and care.
- Conduct EKGs and assist in the interpretation of results.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, medical history, and treatment plans.
- Educate patients on health management and cardiology-related topics.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid LPN/LVN license in California.
- BLS Certification Required
- IV Certification required.
- Proven experience in an outpatient setting, preferably in cardiology.
- Proficient in EKG procedures and interpretation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
