X-ray Tech

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated X-Ray Technologist to join our team in Baltimore, MD. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in various healthcare settings, ensuring patient safety and accurate results. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform X-ray imaging procedures for outpatient, inpatient, and community hospital settings.
• Operate PACS and portable X-ray equipment efficiently.
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and image quality for proper diagnosis.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to provide timely and precise imaging results.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow all safety protocols, including radiation protection standards.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing concerns.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with facility and regulatory guidelines.
• Assist in emergency and trauma cases as needed.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Requirements:

• Active Maryland X-Ray Tech License (Required).
• Experience in outpatient, inpatient, and community hospital settings (Required).
• Proficiency in PACS and portable X-ray machines.
• Strong understanding of radiology safety protocols and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• X Ray Tech: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• ARRT Certification (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Baltimore, MD 21215 (Required)
