What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guidewire Automation QA Analyst/Tester position at Efficus, Inc.?
JOB SUMMARY
Under minimal direction of supervisor or subject matter experts, this position is responsible for developing and executing manual functional tests for new or modified applications / systems in collaboration with other cross functional team members.
JOB DUTIES
Models' ethical behavior and executes job responsibilities in accordance with the customer's core values, ethics, and information protection policies.
- Create, modify and execute manual functional test cases and test plans for applications
- with high quality as per requirement / functional specifications.
- Seek requirement clarifications to adequately cover test conditions.
- Clearly document bugs or defects with relevant information. Collaborate with Dev and other team members in retesting and defect closure.
- Provide clear and concise status of assigned tasks for test reports covering the results of testing activities.
- Assist in creating / maintaining test data in test environments to satisfy the test conditions.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES)

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
4 or more years of experience in enterprise-level software testing with web-based applications in a large scale, relational database environment, to include 2 or more years' experience in implementing and using a variety of quality assurance methodologies.
