Job Overview

Duties
As a Patient Care Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering patient care.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Providing support for daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients.
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
- Assisting with the transportation of patients within the facility.
- Engaging with patients and their families to provide emotional support and education regarding care plans.
Experience
Candidates should possess:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in roles related to hospital medicine or outpatient care.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including geriatrics and pediatric patients.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
