Effy Jewelry is seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Specialist to manage the intake and distribution of all incoming and outgoing packages at our headquarters. This role ensures that all shipments are accurately logged, properly distributed, and efficiently processed. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and comfortable handling daily logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect all incoming packages to ensure accuracy and condition.
- Accurately input all incoming shipments into the receiving software system.
- Distribute packages to the appropriate departments or individuals in a timely manner.
- Handle outgoing shipments by ensuring USPS, UPS, and FedEx packages that were not picked up are dropped off daily.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and deliveries to support inventory control.
- Communicate with internal teams regarding package statuses and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist the shipping team as needed to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move packages as needed.
- Proficiency in inventory or receiving software is a plus.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
