Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee and drive successful project delivery within our Planning and Merchandising Departments. This role involves planning, executing, and finalizing projects within set deadlines and budgets while coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time within scope.
- Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of business (e.g., Consumer Insights, Ecommerce, Merchandising, Data, Planning, Strategy, Marketing, Operations & Supply Chain Impact) to foster productive collaboration with team members.
- Collaborate with Planning and Merchandising teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Establish project goals and objectives, develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, identify potential risks, and create contingency plans.
- Support large-scale initiatives while independently managing smaller projects; ensure the timely delivery of all agreed-upon projects, presentations, reports, and analyses.
- Lead and organize cross functional teams to efficiently address and manage the resolution of complex organizational challenges.
- Communicate project status, updates, and any changes to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices for future projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Merchandising or a related field.
- 3 years of experience as a Project Manager with previous experience in Retail Operations, Merchandising, Buying or Planning.
- Experience in the jewelry industry or travel retail is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, Asana experience is plus.
- PMP or other relevant project management certification is preferred.
