Duties & Essential Job Functions
- Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment
- Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards
- Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
- Implement and maintain ISO9001:2015 standard
- Implement and maintain 5S activities
- Familiarity with quality standards and processes to follow federal, state and local regulations
- Communication skills to convey information in reports, meetings and status reports
- Knowledge of the product to perform accurate quality control
- Attention to detail
- Analysis, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to review systems, find flaws and post solutions to those flaws
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle stress
- Ability to operate under deadlines while still meeting standards
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Able to lead root cause analysis investigations
- 5 years of prior manufacturing quality control experience (preferred)
- ISO9001 certified auditor (preferred)
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Occasional squatting, kneeling, bending and stooping
- Lifting, carrying, pulling, and pushing up to 25lbs
- Safety glasses
- Hearing protection available
- Steel toe shoes in plant
