Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technician Assistant to join our team in the restoration industry. The ideal candidate will assist in various restoration projects, including water damage restoration, mold remediation. This role requires a proactive individual who is eager to learn and contribute to restoring properties to their original condition while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Assist technicians in performing water damage restoration and mold remediation tasks.
- Support fire restoration efforts by cleaning and restoring affected areas.
- Operate power tools and equipment safely and effectively during restoration projects.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while on-site.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during projects.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to carpet cleaning, building restoration, and other relevant areas.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass initial and routine drug tests.
- A full background check is required. (10 Years)
- Must have a Valid Driver's License
- Previous experience in the restoration industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with water damage restoration techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of mold remediation processes is advantageous.
- Able to Work in tight spaces
- Able to be fitted for a face mask.
- Able to work in extreme temperatures.
- The ability to climb in and out of attics and other tight spaces
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to cleaning, restoring, and maintaining properties.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
