Cumberland Farms is looking for a top notch Fleet Maintenance Tech to come join our team! The fleet maintenance tech plays an integral role in servicing and maintaining our trucking fleet which our Cumberland Farms locations rely upon for their products. You will be get a broad range of exposure to various types of equipment to work on. We are looking for a motivated, mechanically inclined tech to join today!
What we Offer :
Position Summary :
Understanding of specialized methods and technical requirements to maintain our fleet. At Cumberland Farms you'll be exposed to our diverse fleet. You may work on (but not limited to) the following equipment : PACCAR, Carrier, Thermo King, Great Dane and Hyundai as well as petroleum transport tanks.
Responsibilities :
Working Relationships : Daily interaction with driver supervisors, drivers, outside vendors, logistics team, fleet technicians and management personnel.
Requirements :
Minimum Education : Trade School High School Diploma
Preferred Education : Associates Trades Degree in Automotive with primary focus in diesel engine repair
Minimum Experience : 1-2 years experience in diesel engine repair
Preferred Experience : 3 years experience in diesel engine repair
Licenses / Certifications : CDL class A or B license. Tank repair certification. Refrigeration repair certification. Minimum of four ASE Certifications - (A) diesel or gas engine (B) drivetrain (C) brakes (D) suspension (E) electrical and electronic (F) PM service (G) HVAC service [not required]
Soft Skills : Able to read and understand diagrams. Strong communication skills. Able to multi task and handle people. Ability to work effectively as a member of a team Other :

Travel : Overnight travel may be required based on the needs of the business. Clean driving record required
