Position Summary :
To meet Federal, State, and local Underground Storage Tank (UST) regulations, track and coordinate required UST system testing and inspections including any required regulatory agency follow-up to maintain compliance. Dispatch repair vendors, maintain reports, coordinate and track correction of deficiencies, and adhere to associated budgets. Manage inspection and testing related regulatory notifications with state agencies.
Responsibilities :
Working Relationships : Work directly with Department teammates. Frequent communication with other SSC departments, outside vendors and consultants. State and local regulators.
Requirements :
Minimum Education : Associate degree in science, engineering or related field or sufficient industry experience
Preferred Education : Bachelor degree in science, engineering or related field
Minimum Experience : 1 - 3 years UST compliance or project management experience
Preferred Experience : 3 - 5 years UST compliance experience
Licenses / Certifications : Preferred licenses and certifications : Class A / B Operator Certification, TPI Certification or License, CTI License, ATG or other petroleum equipment certifications from manufacturer or PEI
Soft Skills :
Travel Limited. Driving to meetings as needed using Company pool car.
Hours & Conditions Monday - Friday 8 hour day in office setting
Physical Requirements Ability to sit for long periods of time; able to lift up to 30 pound
