Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, focusing on infectious disease management and neonatal care. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide infectious disease care, including diagnosis and treatment.
- Perform medical documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Utilize knowledge of ICD-10 for coding and billing purposes.
- Demonstrate proficiency in anatomy knowledge to inform patient care decisions.
- Phlebotomize patients as needed for laboratory testing.
- Provide care for infants, including those requiring neonatal ventilator support.
- Lift and assist patients as necessary while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical systems and practices.
Qualifications
- Current Nurse Practitioner certification and state licensure.
- Experience in infectious disease care is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.
- Emergency Medicine Board Certified.
- Experience in providing infant care, particularly in a clinical setting.
- Ability to work effectively within a medical office environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
