The Horticulture Manager leads the design, pricing, and sales of residential planting projects, blending creativity and horticultural expertise to deliver exceptional landscapes. OBJECTIVES
- Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets for planting projects.
- Create innovative and tailored planting designs that meet client preferences and site conditions.
- Build strong client relationships by providing expert advice and maintaining regular communication throughout project lifecycles.
- Develop accurate proposals and estimates to maintain profitability while meeting quality standards.
- Ensure seamless transitions of sold projects to the operations team with clear designs and specifications.
- Incorporate sustainable and eco-friendly landscaping practices into design recommendations.
- Develop strategies to attract new clients and secure repeat business from existing ones.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging trends, new plant varieties, and best practices in horticulture.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on horticulture and plant care.
- Collaborate with marketing to promote planting services and showcase successful projects.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in landscape design and implementation.
- Knowledge of grading, drainage, and other landscape construction practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer applications and ability to feel comfortable utilizing or training on landscape design software.
- Must be proficient with computer applications and either knowledgeable about landscape design software or willing to learn.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
Compensation:
- Pay $60,000 - $70,000 plus bonuses and incentives
