- Develop and maintain architecturally sound, modular, component-driven Java applications.
- Create, maintain, and organize system & design documentation, test plans, etc.
- 8 years Java J2EE with complex multi-layer applications.
- Strong working knowledge of Swing and EJB.
- Working knowledge on Spring / Hibernate.
- Working knowledge of an appropriate UI framework (jQuery, AngularJS, etc) would be an added advantage.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL.
- Excellent object-oriented design & programming skills, including working knowledge and experience in using UML and design patterns.
- Experience with IDEs such as IntelliJ or Eclipse, and tools such as CVS / Maven.
- Very strong communication and critical thinking skills.
- Solid foundation in troubleshooting application and data issues.
- Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and assess priority.
- Ability to fit into a team-oriented environment with a positive influence.
- Ability to handle changes in business requirements and priorities across multiple projects.
