Software Development Engineer II wanted by Egencia LLC in New York, NY. Support one or more projects spanning our service, community, or sales cloud. This includes participating in the planning / grooming, deliver, and support of new and existing features. These features will be developed using Apex, Triggers, Apex Batch Jobs, Apex Scheduled Jobs, SOQL, Aura, LWC, and / or Flows. Release of the code is handled using Gearset and Git; Collaborating with stakeholders, architects, and / or senior developers to gather requirements and design technical solutions for our Sales Cloud (CPQ), Service Cloud (Email-to-Case, Web-to-Case, Chat, and Phone), Community Cloud, and more; Implement off-platform features on our Amazon Web Service (AWS) instance using Java / Python; Provide mentorship to junior team members on your team to ensure the delivery of scalable solutions that adhere to Salesforce best practices and keep the platform healthy; Documenting technical solutions for admins, product managers, and future developers to understand; Partake in daily stand-ups to provide updates and maintain visibility within the group and across business partners; Participate in peer-to-peer code reviews to drive quality across the platform, and supply technical insight to daily support issues.Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field plus two (2) years of experience in any occupation which includes the required experience / skills. Must have two (2) years of Salesforce.com development experience (Apex, Aura, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Triggers, Batch Jobs, Scheduled Jobs, Apex Unit Tests, Flows, Workflows, and Process Builders); two (2) years of experiencing using version control (any one or a combination of Git or SVN) and a Salesforce release management tool such as any one or a combination of Copado, Gearset or AutoRABIT; two (2) years of experience developing Salesforce Sales, Service and Community cloud; and one (1) year experience with Amazon Web Services.
