Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Supervise, assist, area technicians on breakdowns or other issues.
- Management of work orders, repairs, rebuilds or other tasks for technicians or Maintenance support.
- Responsible for the accountability of the maintenance team in completing projects, work orders, preventative maintenance, and other maintenance tasks that arise in a safe and timely matter.
- Respond to safety issues or maintenance emergencies in plant.
- Timesheet / Time off / Attendance management in UKG Pro for direct reports.
- Communication with production management team and production operators on maintenance related issues or other items.
- Understanding of computers, navigation of Micro Office Suite and E-Maint system.
- Participate in daily production meeting and facilitate daily startup department meetings.
- Responsible for working with management team on maintenance requests.
- Lead projects and rebuilds by working with Maintenance techs / outside contractors to ensure complete list of components is on hand and ready for project to begin on time.
- Work with outside contractors to schedule and plan regular occurring PM’s and repairs
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Tolerance for sitting long periods of time. Possess finger dexterity to write, type, and use a calculator. Maintain adequate vision to view small print and computer terminal. Ability to speak and hear, walk throughout facilities with occasional light lifting (25 pounds), stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching with hands and arms required. Ability to travel between multiple facilities as required to perform core job duties.
