What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher- Shuckin Shack Oyster Bar Ocala position at Eggs Up Grill, Mellow Mushroom, Shuckin Shack Oyster Bar?
Purpose
To ensure all dishes are properly maintained, washed, rinsed and sanitized.
Essential Job Functions
Essential duties may include but are not limited to the following :
- Ensure the availability of clean dishes by washing dishes, pots, pans, flatware, and storing clean dishes pyramid stacked in the correct storage area
- Prepare kitchen for the next shift by cleaning and restocking prep station and cooks' station
- Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as tea machine, pots, pans, mixers, etc.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Unload and store deliveries
- Sweep and mop floors
- Take out trash
- Support other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks as needed
- Must follow the guidelines stated in the grooming standards policy
- Communicate openly, timely, and honestly with subordinates, superiors and all others about plans, progress, and problems
- Always be approachable, coach able and have a good positive attitude
