Job Summary:
The Manager will assist the General Manager with overseeing the day-to-day functions in the restaurant and administering company policies and procedures.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Trains new team members.
- Coordinates and oversees the day-to-day workflow of staff in the restaurant.
- Assists the Manager with employment actions, including discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assists in managing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, food quality, service, and cleanliness.
- Resolves guest issues as needed.
- Assists in increasing profits and minimizing losses.
- Manages inventory and labor (including scheduling) and resolves maintenance issues.
- Maintains a healthy and safe environment for guests and staff by adhering to the Mellow Mushroom standards for safety and sanitation.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Ability to drive hospitality and inspire others to do so.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to assign and delegate tasks.
