Role:
Facilities/Procurement Assistant- Receives and delivers supplies to all departments at the Fort Walton Beach Branch. Responsible for bi-weekly shred service as well as document storage and destruction. Acts as the main point of contact for maintenance, including emergency requests at the FWB Branch. Performs daily runs to other locations and acts as the backup to the Procurement Specialist by assisting with purchase orders.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Receives and delivers supplies and mail/FedEx/UPS to all departments primarily at the Fort Walton Beach Branch. Delivers new employee access credentials to HR.

Responsible for bi-weekly shred service at FWB as well as document storage and destruction.

Assists with supply inventory at FWB. Maintains stock room at FWB. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

Picks up items from local vendors using a Credit Union vehicle.

Performs daily runs to the Okaloosa County Tax Collector's Office and the CU's Operations Center and Attorney's Office.

Assists Procurement with generating purchase orders and receipt/distribution of supplies and promotional items.

Acts as a backup to the Procurement Specialist.

Acts as the main point of contact for maintenance and emergency maintenance requests at the FWB Branch.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:
Experience
One year to three years of similar or related experience. Experience with Inventory, Supply, Logistics, Courier, Purchasing, Maintenance is preferred.
Education
A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills
Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.
Other Skills
Physical Requirements
Must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate a motor vehicle independently.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
