What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural Engineer/Analyst (DH) position at EGS?
Come join a growing multidisciplinary team of engineers designing the next generation nuclear power plant. EGS seeking an experienced mechanical / civil / structural engineer / analyst for direct hire. The engineer would be called upon to analyze metallic, reinforced concrete and soil-subgrade supported structures. The analyses may support engineering and licensing requirements, leading to the licensing and construction of SMR-300 plants across the globe. The engineer will use and learn various methods and software to perform the analyses.

SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Execute and document analyses for a variety of structures, systems and components (SSCs)
- Review available concept designs based on an ambiguous set of requirements, then develop them into mature designs by critical thinking, literature research, interacting with members from other disciplines and vendors, and any analyses as permitted by project milestones
- Support the preparation of design deliverables, presentations, and communicate design progress in stakeholder meetings
- Support development of engineering and licensing requirements and documentation for nuclear SSCs
