Key ResponsibilitiesTransport Operations Management
- Develop and implement transport plans to meet operational requirements.
- Coordinate the scheduling and routing of vehicles and drivers to optimize efficiency.
- Monitor transport activities to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
Fleet Maintenance
- Oversee routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs of all vehicles.
- Maintain records of vehicle inspections, insurance, and registrations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and vehicle standards.
Team Supervision
- Manage, train, and evaluate drivers and transport staff to ensure high performance.
- Assign duties and monitor driver performance using tracking systems and reports.
- Address driver issues, including grievances and performance concerns.
Cost and Budget Management
- Manage the transport budget, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts with transport service providers, if applicable.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure all vehicles and drivers adhere to government regulations, including licensing and permits.
- Implement health and safety standards across transport operations.
Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle use, fuel consumption, and repairs.

QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor’s degree in Transport Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in transport operations or logistics.
- Experience managing fleets and drivers is preferred.
