EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Executive Director | PART TIME REMOTE/HYBRID
FLSA Status: EXEMPT | Prepared date: December 2, 2024
Egyptian Contractors Association’s Executive Director position requires a good understanding of the road construction industry and an ability to converse with contractors and union officials. Basic computer skills, knowledge of Word, Excel, financial software, and basic knowledge of payroll is necessary.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Pay invoices, balance bank statements, set up financial audits, and prepare monthly financial statements
- Work with Barnett & Levine to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll, tax, and payroll returns
- Track and make deposits from all the crafts
- Set up & facilitate ECA & IAF board of directors’ meetings
- Prepare and maintain ECA & IAF board minutes
- Interaction with other construction associations, ECA Members, and union officials from all crafts
- Track and maintain insurance policies for ECA
- Track ECA membership & annual dues
- Facilitate annual scholarship program
- Track and maintain insurance policies for ECA
- Arrange for first aid & CPR classes as needed
- Pick up and process daily mail
This position will also require candidates to serve on the following boards and require candidate to complete political correspondence and/or disseminate industry information to members when desired by the board(s):
- Laborers Health & Welfare
- Laborers Annuity
- Operators Joint Apprenticeship Board
- Iron Workers Apprenticeship Board
- Cement Finishers Joint Apprenticeship Board
- EBOLT Board of Directors
- DIAFF Trustee
The following experience and skills are preferred but not required:
- Basic knowledge of accounting software and payroll
- Knowledge and understanding of business financial statements
- Comfortable using Microsoft programs- Word & Excel
- Effective communication skills
- Must possess a valid driver’s license

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
