Job Summary
Coordinates and delivers patient orders along with patient focus care within the Home Medical Equipment department.
Minimum requirements
TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
- Prefer health care experience, not required.
- Prior experience with Home Medical Equipment preferred, not required.
- No prior training required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of Home Medical Equipment.
- Organizational and Prioritizing Skills.
- Verbal and Written Communication Skills.

- Detail oriented.
- Ability to stand for four-hour periods between breaks.
- Ability to lift a 75-pound maximum.
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS:
- Valid Michigan driver’s license.

Summary of essential job functions
TECHNICAL / ADMINISTRATIVE / CLERICAL
- Performs duties associated with coordination, delivery and setup of Home Medical Equipment for Ehardt’s Pharmacy, Inc.
- Coordinate and prepare an efficient and cost effective route for deliveries with the assistance of the Director of Home Medical Equipment.
- Deliver and assemble orders of Home Medical Equipment in patients’ homes.
- Comply with all regulations and safety procedures with each type of equipment.
- Inform patient of proper instructions.
- Coordinate and follow-up with patient for pick-ups and returns.
- Performs duties associated with the maintenance, cleaning and repair of Home Medical Equipment for Ehardt’s Pharmacy, Inc.
- Provide maintenance for Home Medical Equipment.
- Handle and clean contaminated equipment.
- Assist with repairing or troubleshooting broken equipment.
- Performs duties associated with the organization and inventory of Home Medical Equipment for Ehardt’s Pharmacy, Inc.
- Maintains the warehouse by keeping it clean and organized.
- Assists with routine inventory of Home Medical Equipment.
- Performs duties associated with the operation and maintenance of the company’s vehicles.
- Obeys State and Local traffic laws at all times.
- Operates the vehicle safely at all times.
- Maintains the cleanliness and routine care of the company’s vehicle.
- Performs any other duties as assigned by the Director of Home Medical Equipment.
