EHC Construction is looking for reliable and motivated individuals to join our team as Labor. This role involves supporting various road construction and maintenance activities and ensuring the safety and efficiency of the operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform physical labor, including digging, shoveling, and lifting heavy materials.
- Prepare new construction sites by digging, moving dirt, or compacting space
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Help with traffic control measures, including setting up cones and signage.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the worksite.
- Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly.
- Assist equipment operator and other skilled labor when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles preferred but not required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
