LOCATION This position is based in Lake Charles, LA.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Supports on the Drafting portion of the Project. 2. Supports on the Quantity Takeoff activities of the Project. 3. Supports construction during the execution stage. 4. Support in the execution stage (project assistance team to resolve nonconformities, RFI with designers and unexpected events during construction). 5. Collaborates within the technical department, as well as with other departments. 6. Guarantees the correct transmission of design information to the entire project team. 7. Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Effectively communicate in a positive and professional manner through written and verbal communications in all interfaces with customers/public, fellow employees, vendors, etc. 2. Ability to use appropriate computer programs (including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite) which includes having proficient computer skills and the ability to adapt and learn as programs and processes change. 3. Ability to work as a team member and exert initiative to work independently to reach a goal. 4. Ability to embrace change in the workplace while encouraging others to seek innovative approaches. 5. Ability to function effectively as a team player and collaborator. 6. QUALIFICATIONS At a minimum, the MicroStation Drafter must have an associates degree in drafting or equivalent field of study along with 3 years of drafting experience in addition to proven proficiency of MicroStation or a high school diploma, or equivalent, along with 5 years of drafting experience in addition to proven proficiency of MicroStation. Experience using Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center along with experience working in the construction industry is preferred.
