EHC is currently looking for a SCADA Analyst for a client located in Midland, TX.
Overview:
The SCADA Analyst will be responsible for the programming and maintenance of our client's SCADA system to facilitate the delivery of measurement and control information to support Midstream gathering, transportation and asset management. Will work with 3rd party contractors in the development of SCADA system deliverables to ensure that new functionality delivered is robust, scalable, and meets our client functional and non-functional requirements.

Will work with 3rd party contractors in the development of SCADA system deliverables to ensure that new functionality delivered is robust, scalable, and meets our client functional and non-functional requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain department (SCADA) data collection system providing 24/7 on-call support on a rotating basis.
- Support Field Measurement Technicians, Communication Technicians, Measurement Analysts, etc. in maintaining data collection accuracy and proficiency.
- Process change-requests and respond to customer inquiries originating from an internal ticketing system, internal reports, company emails, SCADA hotline, instant messaging system, and other communication methods as applicable.
- Monitor, generate, and modify reports as required utilizing company reporting tools.
- Analyze, diagnose, and solve complex issues, determining root cause, to minimize impact to downstream business units.
- Assist in the execution of special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A degree in (Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Information Systems) or a similar field.
- In lieu of degree, 3-5 years of work experience in a SCADA environment, technical support environment, or other related setting will be considered.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; ability to recognize, analyze, and solve complex problems.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to perform tasks with high accuracy and thoroughness.
- Strong data management skills, ability to audit, format, model and analyze large data sets.
- Experience working with Inductive Automation SCADA products
- Advanced skills in computer applications, databases, and reporting software: Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerBI).
- Ability to translate stakeholder descriptions of desired functionality into technical design documents.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent assignments and deadlines.
- Ability to effectively handle pressures and demands of deadlines and competing priorities.
- Ability to handle confidential information and material with the highest degree of professional responsibility.
- Ability to promote cooperation and commitment within a team to achieve goals and deliverables.
- Demonstrate commitment to compliance with applicable laws and regulations, company’s ethics code of conduct and other company policies and procedures.
