In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, processes, and priorities
- Translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories, workflows, and specifications for the development team
- Facilitate meetings to clarify needs, update progress, and communicate timelines, risks, and deliverables
- Serve as a product owner within Agile teams, leading sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Identify opportunities to optimize business processes and recommend IT solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Work closely with the software development team, QA team, and other IT staff to deliver high-quality solutions
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams to address questions, concerns, and feedback regarding IT projects
- Create and maintain a backlog of business requirement documents, user guides, and training materials
- Ensure all solutions comply with company policies, regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA), and security requirements
What the role requires:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in business analysis, IT project management, or a related role
- Proficient in creating user stories, process flows, and other documentation
- Experience working in Agile development environments is strongly preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and foster collaboration across departments
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to technical and non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with healthcare systems, particularly EMRs, and an understanding of healthcare workflows
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in healthcare (e.g., HIPAA)
- Hands on knowledge with tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with SQL is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

The salary range for this role is $125,000 - $150,000 and is determined by a number of factors including the candidate's experience, qualifications and skills
