Position: Senior Accountant

Location: EHM Senior Solutions, Saline, MI 48176

Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with experience in general ledger accounting and budgeting? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy collaborating with finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting? EHM Senior Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team.

Your Responsibilities

As the Senior Accountant, you will:

• Perform month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist in the development and updates of the annual budget.
• Maintain and update a rolling 3-month cash flow projection.
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements.
• Ensure monthly updates to balance sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee fixed asset management and cash flow processes.
• Work with external auditors during the annual audit and preparation of the 990T Tax Return.
• Contribute to special projects as assigned by the CFO and Controller.
  
  
  

What You Bring

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related Business field.
• 5-7 years of experience in an Accounting/Budgeting role.
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger (G/L) Accounting and Budgeting principles.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred but not required.
  
  
  

Preferred Experience:

• Experience completing journal entries and managing monthly book closures.
• Expertise in bank reconciliation and cash flow management.
• Familiarity with managing fixed assets and financial reporting.
• Experience working with auditors and preparing tax returns.
• Prior experience in a large healthcare-related organization is a plus.
