1. Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Operations Administrator to join our team. Office 365, AzureAD and EntraID configuration experience are critical for this position. In this role, you will be responsible for a) managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, b) ensuring the smooth operation of all systems, and c) designing and implementing new environments to support emerging business ventures within the group.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Incident & Problem Resolution:
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Desktop Suites:
- Design, operate, and troubleshoot O365 environments, including AzureAD and EntraID.
- Manage and support G Suite environments.
- Network Administration:
- Manage and maintain internal networks, firewalls, VPN, and security protocols.
- Software Management:
- Manage, administer, and troubleshoot platforms including:
- NetSuite, O365, G Suite, Slack, Jira, RingCentral, Zoom, and various industry-specific SaaS platforms.
- Device Management:
- Oversee asset tracking, setup, and maintenance of company devices (Mac and Windows).
- Scripting & Automation:
- Develop and improve scripts to automate tasks and improve system efficiency (PowerShell, JavaScript, App Script, Power Automate).
- Broader IT Support:
- Demonstrate a willingness to step outside traditional IT Ops tasks to assist with related areas such as basic data warehousing concepts, data visualization tools, and developer-adjacent solution sets.
- Implement and maintain data backup and recovery procedures.
- Monitor system performance, and create alerts.
- Adhere to security best practices, and report any security concerns.
3. Required or Recommended Experience/Certifications
- 3 years of experience in IT administration, system support, or a similar role.
- IT Ops Certifications: CompTIA A , Security , Network , Microsoft 365 (any).
- Working knowledge of automating tasks in O365/G Suite (Power Automate, scripts), basic Ubiquiti or similar network devices, and MDM platforms.
- Strong understanding of cloud security and data privacy, with an eye towards compliance.
- Familiarity with ITSM concepts. ITIL 3 or 4 Certifications or ITSM product certifications beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure (firewalls, VPN, DNS, DHCP).
- Proficiency with macOS and Windows systems.
- Experience with SaaS platforms like O365/AzureAD, NetSuite, Jira, Slack, and G Suite.
- Basic knowledge of Postman and APIs is a plus.
