We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Material Handler to join our team. This role involves loading, unloading, and moving materials within our plant or off-site storage facility, ensuring that raw materials are received, stored, and delivered to production areas as needed.
Location: 250 N Belmont Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46222
Schedule: 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, label, and store incoming raw materials, ensuring accurate inventory management.
Issue raw materials to work centers based on the production schedule.
Coordinate packaging and delivery of materials between the warehouse and production areas.
Handle and store materials at EHOB and off-site warehouses.
Conduct regular inventory counts (weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly).
Weigh and stage welded goods for shipment to Goodwill or EDC.
Provide containers (conticos) for finished goods at work areas.
Deliver raw materials to production and load/unload deliveries.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
Forklift certification required.
Basic knowledge of Outlook, Traverse, and Excel.
Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
Physical ability to lift and handle materials and work in varying conditions.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
