EHR Services has partnered with Covaris, LLC to hire a Senior Mechanical Sustaining Engineer.
Summary : The Sr Mechanical Sustaining Engineer will focus on reliability improvements and cost reduction opportunities for Covaris Focused-ultrasonicator product lines and accessories. The individual should have 5 years of Sustaining Engineering experience and manufacturing support of complex electromechanical systems within an ISO or FDA-regulated organization.
Essential Responsibilities : The employee may be required to perform all or a combination of the following essential responsibilities as determined by business necessity.
- Apply Design for Excellence (DFx) principles to enhance product reliability and cost-effectiveness
- Demonstrates a strong motivation to achieve goals and exceed expectations
- Works both independently and collaboratively to drive a project through to completion
- Working knowledge of GD&T to produce dimensional drawings and CAD files within SolidWorks
- Perform robust root cause analysis including report writing
- Author Change Orders within an eQMS
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
