Position Overview:
We seek a dedicated and passionate long-term substitute teacher for our regular educator from April to May. The substitute teacher will deliver engaging lessons and support students in their learning across various subjects.
Responsibilities:
- Teach three 8th-grade technology classes, focusing on enhancing students' skills in technology and digital literacy. We have an online program students use.
- Instruct two 9th-grade AVID classes, promoting college readiness, study skills, and academic success.
- Conduct one 9th-grade Spanish class, fostering language acquisition and cultural understanding among students.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
- Adhere to school policies and procedures while maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education(preferred).
- Valid teaching certification or license (preferred).
