We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to lead the financial operations of our growing hospitality company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and finance, with a proven track record in managing financial reporting, evaluating financial trends supervising our accounting staff, and overseeing total strategic plans for our company as we grow. This individual will have the opportunity to move into a larger role as CFO in the near future.

Director of Finance Responsibilities:

• Prepare and oversee the execution of the financial strategic plans in a hotel setting
• Evaluate financial trends, and performance and identify potential risks
• Prepare an annual budget, track and analyze financial results
• Supervise and manage all audit and internal control processes
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for Chief Operating Officer
• Meet with Department Heads and Managers on weekly/monthly basis
• Prepare timely and accurate sales, use, occupancy, property and tax returns

Director of Finance Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• CPA Certification required
• A minimum of 8 years’ experience in accounting in a hotel setting
• Accounting experience in a hotel setting is preferred not required
• Expert accounting and data management skills
• In-depth knowledge of accounting software, corporate principles
• Strong analytical skills and exceptional leadership skills
