Qualifications
A senior desktop support manager is needed to lead a team of specialists in resolving technical issues and improving the overall IT experience
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows and macOS environments, as well as experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and endpoint management tools
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Experience: 5 years of experience in desktop support, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and macOS environments, Active Directory, Office 365, and endpoint management tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune)
Responsibilities
Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of desktop support specialists, providing guidance, training, and professional development to ensure they have the skills needed to succeed
Scheduling and Resource Allocation: Schedule and allocate resources to ensure timely resolution of technical issues, maximizing efficiency and productivity
Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews and set measurable objectives for the team to ensure they are meeting expectations
